Marek's Leg Braces

Hello! As many of you know, our Dad, Marek Wolanski, was diagnosed 10 years ago with a muscle degenerative disease called Inclusion Body Myositis. It is a group of muscle diseases that involves inflammation of the muscles and tissues that supply the muscles. This results in muscle degeneration which causes progressive weakness of the muscles of the wrists, fingers, muscles of the front of the thigh, and muscles that lift the foot. Due to this, Marek's legs are beginnng to hyper-extend (bend backwards) and are unable to support his upper body. For support, he has been using double canes, hand crutches, and even a wheelchair.  It is extremely difficult for him to go up simple stairs. 
He now requires leg braces to support his legs and prevent them from bending backwards .  These custom braces are crucial to his well being and will support his legs so he could continue to be able to walk.
Marek is currently on permanent medical disability because is not strong enough to work. We would appreciate any amount of donation you are able to give. Thank you for your support!
