Marc Yeadon vs. Brain Tumor

Donation protected
The man who has dedicated his life to helping others now needs our help.  Our brother, Marc Yeadon, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor, and he has a long, uphill battle ahead of him.

Marc is a son, brother, triplet, nephew, uncle, and cousin.  He is a teacher, leader, coach, and mentor.  And most of all, he is one of the most loyal, funny and selfless friend that many of us know.

He has a 4.6 cm Meningioma that will require treatment with surgery and radiation.  He ignored many of the symptoms we can now attribute to the brain tumor, in order to support his Special Ed students closing out one school year and beginning another.  These symptoms included severe headaches, balance problems, and memory issues.  A few weeks ago, he endured a massive headache in order to watch the first Steelers pre-season game with his brother Guy.  Later, when the pain got too much to bear, Marc went to the Emergency Room, where the tumor was discovered by CT scan.   Further diagnostic examinations, meetings with doctors, neurologists and neurosurgeons have ensued, and a treatment plan is being put in place.  His surgery and follow-up radiation are soon to follow.

As a special education teacher, Marc has never had much extra cash.  Even with insurance coverage, he faces huge financial burdens.  Between his physical prognosis and the related monetary strain, Marc is in for the fight of his life.

First and foremost, we ask for your support and good wishes.  Depending on your spirituality, this could mean your prayers, meditations, kind thoughts or good vibes.  Most of all, please keep Marc in your hearts—where he belongs.

Secondly, our goal is to help Marc financially, to ease the burden as much as possible and allow him to focus on recovery.  In addition to Marc’s medical expenses (which will be staggering), he will need significant time off work with lost income, and all of his other living expenses piling up.  The last thing Marc needs to worry about is making ends meet.  Please donate to Marc’s fund.  Every bit helps and 100% will go to Marc’s needs.

With thanks and love,

Lisa and Guy Yeadon
