In times of trouble, it becomes time for the tattoo-family to stand together once more, all for one of us!

I'm Anne vom Hofe, historic inspired Tattoo Artist from Germany, and I speak up for my friend Marcy Nielsen in Canada, our friend who have recently had serious health issues. She has been part of the tattooscene for about 20 years, she is one of the good oldschool tattoists, hard working with incredible skill, and she is a person with a great and kind heart. She is not one to talk, she steps up and does. I expienced her imidiate call to action helping me when I myself needed helo and did not expect I would be returning that favor so soon, but so it must be!

That which happened!

Marcy suffered two grand mal seizures, caused by a critical medication error. The seizures were themselves severe, and following this, she had to be on a medically induced coma to stabilize for three days. After getting the medication that caused the seizures out of her body, she still fights against a high level of myoglobin, caused by the two prelonged seizures, that now leads to acute kidney disorder. There is no prognosis how and when she will recover, and she is left with this insecurity, while trying to rest and heal.

As you, my fellow tattoo artists, know, such a serve interuption of beeing able to work, can easily break your neck, your whole career.

Marcy and her husband Danny would, like me, never ask for anything for themselves, they are kind and humble people who will always do more for others than anyone would ever expect.

So as Marcy did for me, I now ask on her behalf, to step up, stand together and help save one of us!

No matter how much you can give, a few dollar, a little more, or maybe just a share - let us make some magic happen for a person who wouldn't hesitate to help others wherever she can!
