Well... let me introduce myself. My name is Marcus McFarlin, also known as, "Elder Mac". I've been singing for as long as I can remember and I loooove music. As I've grown as a young man, I gained an instrest in song writing. At the age of 14, I realized that I was pretty good at composing music. As time progressed, I fell in love with God and my love for gospel and inspirational music grew exponentially.
After writing inspirational songs to encourage myself through some of my most trying times, I noticed that the amount of my compositions were growing rapidly. Family and friends would often tell me how much they enjoyed my singing as well and encouraged me to record my songs. Thankfully, I was able to fund, record and digitally release my first independent album, "Addicted to Praise" in 2011.
Since then, I have shared the stage with Grammy Award winning artist such as Tye Tribbett, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, and more. As I embark on this next phase in my career as a recording artist, I am looking to excel even greater by encouraging people with new music soon to be released this summer (2015).
This is where I need YOUR HELP! In order to be successful at releasing and promoting my sophomore album on a national tour, I am asking that you support my ministry and efforts by making a donation of at least $5 or more. I am looking to reach my goal of $3,500. These funds will help me cover things sucha as the studio pre-production cost , travel and lodging for promotional tour dates. With your help, this will help me to expedite the long awaited release of my sophomore album.
