So, as yall know, our friend Marcus has parted ways with us way sooner than anyone could've ever anticipated. Marcus and I bonded over our love of music and deep conversations about the world and those who are lucky enough to inhabit it. We could be jamming Miles Davis, then to rage against the machine, followed by biggie and concluded with parliament funkadelic. Marcus was a rare specimen as far as people go. He was genuine, sincere, and not afraid to stand up for what he believed in. If you were in his presence, you felt something special, even if it was just uncontrollable laughter. (Which he was known to induce) Marcus was a devoted father and husband and my heart goes out to them in this incomprehensible time of grief. I've started this gfm to assist his family in this extremely hard time, all funds raised here will be transferred to his wife Kathryn and their children.
