Marcus Ochoa Memorial Fund

Vicente Marcus Ochoa, known as Marcus to friends and Marc to his parents, was born on December 27, 1977 in South Bend, Indiana. He passed away on September 30, 2021 in Henderson, Nevada. Marcus attended St. Christopher Catholic Grade School, Marantha Academy and graduated from Bishop Gorman High School, Class of 1996. He attended UNLV and Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy. Marcus worked for many years in the nightclub industry as a VIP host at RA at the Luxor, Encore Beach club and many other iconic Las Vegas establishments. He leaves behind his beloved daughter Mia Bella Ochoa; parents Hon. Vincent Ochoa and Debra Ochoa; sister Lisa; brother David (Angela Nakamura) niece Olivia; sister Laura; niece Sydney (David Anderson); aunts, uncles and cousins in Michigan, Texas and Louisiana and many friends in Las Vegas and Dallas. Service and burial are private.

Marcus was beloved by many and touched so many lives over his short 43 years of life. His bright smile and contagious laugh will be ingrained in the hearts of many. Many of Marcus' friends have reached out asking about doing something for Marcus' pride and joy, his 15 year old daughter, Mia Bella. We have started this fund to go into a trust for Mia and would love to show Mia how much her father meant to all of those he knew over the years.
