Marcus Myers - Hammer Throw - Road to USAs 2022

Hello All,

This opportunity is for you at home to support me and my athletic adventures once again. In 2018 I became an NCAA Division II National Champion in the Hammer Throw, and from there, I continued my training/life in the world of track and field. I currently coach at an NCAA Division II school in Michigan, where I can give back to the sport that has given me so much. I am gratefully able to continue my athletic endeavors around my coaching responsibilities and get closer to making my own dreams a reality.

As some of you may know, I qualified for the Outdoor Championships at Drake University in 2019 and placed 13th. This outdoor season, I am preparing to throw in the 2022 Championships that will be held at the new Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon. The proceeds of this GoFundMe will aid with the travel, housing, and transportation expenses required for me to attend this competition at the end of June.

The last time I organized a GoFundMe, an overwhelming amount of support allowed me to travel to the Championships in Iowa. I was even fortunate enough to have additional funding for an annual elite throws competition at the University of Arizona. So, if there is an outstanding amount of support again, it would allow me the opportunity to further sharpen my skills ahead of the national competition.
