On the afternoon of June 21st, 2025, our beloved Marcus suffered a massive and devastating heart attack. Since that tragic day, he has not regained consciousness. The severity of his condition has only deepened, and his body has endured immense trauma—compounded by numerous challenges in accessing the urgent care he so desperately has relied on.

As we walk through this incredibly painful and uncertain time, we are reaching out to our community for financial support. The burdens on Marcus’s family have grown heavy, with medical bills mounting and immediate financial obligations.

Your generosity will help ease these burdens.

Any remaining funds will be placed in the care of Wayne Oliver, Marcus’s brother, to prepare for Marcus’s next chapter—his “Homegoing" when that time comes, these funds will be used for funeral or memorial expenses, to honor and celebrate the life of a man who touched so many, as well as ensuring future resources for his 8-year-old twin daughters, Zoie and Zahara.
