Hi Everyone;

My name is Holly Power I am the mother of the late Logan Power (LogiBear) who was tragically killed in a high speed car accident in March 2025 and was also the best friend of Marcus. I am writing this on behalf of my beautiful friend Kristie (Marcus’s Mum) to ease the burden off her as she is bedside with her eldest child Marcus on his long road to recovery after his horrific accident.

On the night of Friday, July 10th 2026 five teenagers were in a devastating high speed motor vehicle accident resulting in two passengers being flown to John Hunter Hospital in critical condition.

Marcus was a rear passenger in that vehicle and was ejected through the window resulting in polytrauma injuries

- Spinal cord haemorrhage

- Multiple C5 complex fractures

- Fractures to his L3, L4 and L5

- Broken scapula

- Grade 4 liver lacerations

- Grade 2 spleen lacerations

- Reduced movement and feeling in right arm due to spinal cord trauma

As an athlete who’s whole life has been dedicated to basketball with prospects of a professional career these injuries are absolutely shattering and life changing for what Marcus may now be able to do.

Marcus is the eldest of 4 and a role model to his younger siblings who are understandably devastated. In this traumatic time Kristie has had to leave her other children to ensure her main focus is on Marcus and his long recovery, in doing this I am hoping to ease some of the financial burden faced by Kristie and her family at a time where she needs to be there for her boy.

Marcus remain in ICU in John Hunter hospital and is currently awaiting a bed at Royal North Shore Spinal Rehabilitation Unit in Sydney to help Marcus repair his significant spinal injuries.

I understand the cost of living is horrendous at the moment but your kindness and generosity would mean the absolute world to Kristie and Marcus and family so any donations big or small at all would be greatly appreciated.
