Marcus from QFC has become Homeless

Marcus has been a bagger at QFC Mukilteo for 6 years. He bikes to work in the worst of weather and no matter what, he always shows up. If you shop at the Mukilteo QFC, then he has very likely bagged your groceries. Marcus is soft spoken, dedicated, hardworking, and a very gentle soul. He’s also in a perilous situation.

Marcus lost his best friend, advocate and roommate to COVID and quickly found himself in an abusive situation as new roommates moved in and took over his apartment. They took to using drugs and stopped paying rent. Marcus covered their share of rent for as long as he could and now he has found himself homeless.

I am raising money for Marcus to help him with living expenses as he searches for a new living situation. The goal is to keep him off the streets until a new apartment can be found and to help with deposits and first and last months rent.

On Tuesday the 15th Marcus will be having oral surgery, so on top of all of his troubles he will be missing a couple days of work as well.

Please help this vulnerable young man.
