Hi, My name is Verdette Coltrane, mother of Marcus Donovan Stodghill, also affectionally known as “Prince” by many of his friends. When I picked him up from the airport on 2/18/24, his joy was overflowing. He was looking forward to spending time with the family and working with his friend at the grand opening of her studio. It’s hard to believe we shared so many laughs and fond memories and three days later he was fighting for his life. The first fight that he lost. For us it is painful, but we know now that he is free from pain and trials of this life. Thanks to everyone who has called to check on us and to offer their assistance. Your prayers, thoughts and other kind gestures are greatly appreciated. Details about the arrangements are forthcoming. Please accept our thanks and request to keep our family and others that loved Marcus in your prayers. In response to the many offers to help, the family decided to set up a gofundme page to help with final expenses and your contributions will be greatly appreciated.
