Marcus Collins Medical and Heart Health Fund

Hello! This is JC of The Texas Tenors. As many of you know, Marcus and I are best friends, but feel more like brothers. Marcus is always the first one to help others, and has such a big heart! Now, we know this is the case figuratively, AND literally. Recently, doctors discovered Marcus's heart is enlarged, and is not pumping at an efficient level. The doctors kept him in the hospital for several days running tests and to make some immediate improvements. However, healing and recovery will take time. It is going to be a long road, but we have faith that Marcus will pull through this. He is at great risk of cardiac arrest, so the most important thing for him right now is to eliminate stress/anxiety, and let rest/medication heal his heart. Many of you have reached out about how you can help Marcus. John and I, along with Marcus's family feel like cards, emails and messages might make him even more anxious, as he usually feels pressure to respond. Instead, we have set up a go fund me for all of this friends, fans and family who want to chip in towards his medical bills and nutritional needs that he will be facing in the near future.

Marcus would never ask anything of anyone. But as his best friend, I'm not afraid to ask all of his supporters to help him. He literally is the most generous and caring person I've ever met. Now it's time that we care for him. These medical bills are mounting as we speak. Also, he has to do an evaluation every 2 weeks with his heart doctor along with a specifically prepared diet for the next 90 days. He will not be allowed to travel or do much of anything other than relax and improve his health. So, a financial donation along with a caring note through this link would be incredible and very appreciated.

Many of you are probably friends or family of "The Texas Tenors." John and I want you to know that we will "Go on with the Show," with a new stage presentation that will make Marcus proud and will still feature him virtually through the magic of video. We have done over 2,000 shows with Marcus front and center with that big smile. We look forward to him getting healthy so we can continue performing for many, many years. For now, it's time to get that big heart healthy!
