Hello friends and family,
Welcoming our newest Grandson on 11/24/2023 at 4:11 a.m
Baby Marcus Andrew Jimenez Jr.
My Son Marcus & his Fiancé Kim who were expecting their first baby in March 2024 unfortunately had to be rushed to Mercy Southwest Thanksgiving night due to a discomfort Kim was having that was no longer tolerable.
Kim gave birth to her son Marcus Andrew Jimenez Jr. at 4:11 am 11/24/2023 weighing only 1lb 9oz. Unfortunately due to complications he was airlifted to the Children’s hospital in Madera due to what the doctor thought was a blockage in his esophagus and or they thought he was not fully developed and sent him there in case of an emergency surgery. Turned out he was tested and has a 2-3 grade bleed in the brain and a hole in his heart.
Prior to this information Marcus being a hard worker for his family was set and ready to go back to North Dakota (where they currently resides) and had prior arrangements of moving into a bigger space for their newborn. He was planning to take care of all of this for when his son was ready to go home. In the meantime, we have convinced Marcus to stay here for the 8 weeks with his Fiancé and newborn Son in the NICU for emotional and physical support. We do know that disability is a process to get finalized and approved that is why I am reaching out to our family and friends in this time of need. This would be able to help Marcus and his family financially to stay afloat while being here in California to stay by his family side. Marcus is the sole provider and with this emergency Marcus has used his 40 hours of PTO.
If you could find it in your heart to please support Marcus, his fiancé Kim and newborn Marcus Andrew Jimenez Jr. to help take some of the burden of bills not getting paid on time, expenses while being in Madera and traveling expenses as well.
Prayers are powerful and each and everyone would greatly appreciated in this time of need. ♥️
