Marcus Martinez unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, February 4th at age 53. He leaves behind his soulmate, Nicole, his stepchildren Madison and Avery, his parents Carmen and Pedro, his brother Peter, his cherished pets, and his family, friends, and church family who absolutely adored him.

Marcus was a devoted and loving husband who married his high school sweetheart after they reconnected 30 years later thanks to social media (and Nicole's detective skills!). Him and Nicole loved nothing more than to spend time together, and it didn't matter where they were or what they were doing, they were happy as long as they were with one another. They especially loved to travel, and were so incredibly lucky to visit many beautiful places including New Zealand, Nicole's bucket list trip. He didn't believe in waiting for the future, and lived every day as though it was his last. He truly knew how to have a fun time, and everyone around him found his smile and personality infectious.

Unfortunately, Marcus and Nicole never imagined they would be separated by death only 6 years after they were married, and did not financially plan for it. Nicole is left behind to carry the burden of his final arrangements, their home, car, and every other expense on her single income.

Any money donated will be used to help Nicole navigate the days ahead while figuring out what her future will look like without her beloved husband. Her grief is unimaginable, and finances should not be something she needs to worry about right now.
