2/27/2024 Update:
Getting ready for his funeral in a few days. I am so touched by all the support you have given to us. May God bless you and your families.
2/21/2024: I'm Christine Chandler, Marc's mom. This is the saddest day of my life.
Our son who was diagnosed with an extremely rare brain cancer on November 15th, 96 days ago, has passed away early this morning. He did the radiation therapy, chemo pills, and surgeries but the tumor was too big and treatments made little
difference in his quality of life. It was right in the middle of his brain. Untouchable....
One time early on his treatments he said during a St. Jude commercial, "These kids don't understand what is happening to them and I'm a young man and I don't understand this myself. When I get thru this I want to give back somehow." He loved people and loved life. We give to St. Jude. I encourage you all to do the same one day. These tumors must be destroyed before they take any more of our loved ones.
I've never asked for anything from anyone ever and always felt it was important to help others. My son had a heart of gold. Willing to help anyone in need.
He moved 2 years ago to North Carolina from here in Colorado, with his wife and newborn baby son to start a better life.
During this time, my husband and I have flown out to be with him 5x and now a 6th time for his funeral. I can't believe this has happened.
I'm hoping with some compassion and aid that you will find it in your hearts to help us. God had a different plan for Marc. God knew, we just needed to pray for His will to be done. He needed more than any human being could possibly give him.
Please help us to raise funds.
Thank you from my heart.
Most lovingly,
Christine Chandler
