In Memoriam of Marcos Valenzuela

On December 6th, 2020, we lost a special man, Marcos Valenzuela. Marcos was only 24 and is survived by his 4-year-old son, Mason Cash Valenzuela. Mason will grow up never knowing his father and the men they would become.
We asked the family to share a few words for Marcos. The outpouring of thoughts shared a common theme. This was a man who put others before himself, always.
"What I loved about Marcos was his compassion, patience, and genuine love for everybody."
"His love for his son was truly profound. I will never forget the way he looked into Mason's eyes."
"No matter what he was doing, he would bring me along with him. Even though he and his friends were older, he never left me behind."
"One time, I fell off my bike, and before I hit the ground, Marcos was holding me to make sure I was ok. I'll never forget that."
"When I got to college, he visited me on campus and wanted a tour and was sincerely excited for me in a way that's rare."
"Since we were kids, he was the strongest person I knew. He had a fire in him that I always admired."
Marcos was always beloved by his family. A smart boy with a huge heart who sincerely cared for those around him more than himself. He turned into a man who loved his family, above all else. Marcos's smile could light up any room, and today we feel the darkness in his absence.
Some people have reached out and asked how they can help in this unimaginably difficult time. Please know how much your kindness and prayers mean to us. This GoFundMe is to help cover funeral expenses. All additional funds raised will go towards the day to day needs of his young son Mason.
We are coordinating the funeral services and look to plan something for the end of the year, after Christmas. Sheryl Aliaga, Marcos's mother, will be in charge of final expenses.
Marcos "Polo" Valenzuela, 24, beloved partner, son, and father, passed away December 6th, 2020, at Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas. Marcos was born on August 1st, 1996. Marcos is survived by his father, Oscar Valenzuela; mother Sheryl Aliaga; Marcos's partner, Mia Ceric; his son, Mason; step-daughter, Miali; his brothers, Andrew, Oscar "JR", Avery, and Jackson; and his sister, Nayeli.
Thank you for keeping Marcos in your thoughts, and we will keep you updated on upcoming services.
