Marco’s battle against ewing's sarcoma cancer

Dear friends, family, & compassionate strangers, We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts & hopeful spirits. Marco, our sweet & silly 10yr old little boy, was recently diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma. It is an aggressive childhood cancer that most often occurs in & around the bones. Chemotherapy is sometimes used as the first treatment for Ewing sarcoma. The medicines may shrink the cancer. That makes it easier to remove the cancer with surgery or target with radiation therapy. After surgery or radiation therapy, chemotherapy treatments might be used to kill any cancer cells that might remain. Marco is a bright, joyful boy who lights up every room. He’s always been the one to cheer others up, but now he needs our help more than ever. Marco’s mama Sherine, is devoted to being by his side every step of the way, but the road ahead is daunting. Marco also has a sweet little 5 year old sister Marleen that will need lots of extra lovin while her family is going through this hard time. Marco’s mom works full time. She’s facing a overwhelming financial burden. From medical bills, days away from work, & the added strain of covering everyday living expenses while Marco undergoes treatment is more than any family should have to bear alone.
