As a community leader in San Francisco and Oakland for the last 15 years, we are reaching out to the community to support him and his family during this time of need.

Early in the morning on 9/28/15 Marco suffered a serious stroke and a brain anuerism.  He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit of UCSF, and is likely to have surgery in the next week or so pending the nuerosurgeon's recommendation.

While he has an amazing team of doctors (one of which is flying in to assess his case) who are treating him, there is inevitably a long road of recovery ahead.  The family has asked to keep visitors to a minimum, as his brain activity needs to remain calm and restful.  They are happy to accept cards and prayers!  

This is a great way to extend your support, whether it's $1 or $100.  The costs of rehabilitation and the impact of supporting him in the long term will quickly add up.  Anything will be helpful!
