Some stars can pull others into their orbit, and others shine brighter than others. On 1/9/20, we lost the brightest star, friend, brother, and son we will ever know. Marco passed away suddenly from tragic, and unforeseen circumstances.


Marco was 43. At an early age he showed signs of genius. He became a student body president, a valedictorian, and exhibited a gift for dance. Marco commanded presence not just with his good looks and his unique sense of style, but with his cheeky sense of humor. 


For close to a decade, Marco would use his magnetism to run some of the Bay’s most innovative and successful hospitality concepts like Poleng Lounge and The Summit SF. Then in 2015, he would go on to co-found Plinth Agency, a marketing and branding firm. His keen wit and unbridled creativity would grow and launch countless brands. At Plinth Agency, he found his magic touch.


The true measure of Marco’s life is seen in the wealth of friendships he forged over the years. From elementary, to high school, to college, and on to his professional years, Marco would touch many lives. Marco had a heart of gold. He took friends in that had no homes. Need to help moving out of your apartment--not a problem. Marco was your guy.


This sudden loss, is not without  its unintended consequences. Beyond the unbelievable grief his friends and family face, there are unexpected bills mounting. We ask all his friends, colleagues, relatives, and other community members to help us in our time of need.
