Marco A. Garibay's Funeral Expenses
As many have learned over the past few days, the Garibay family has experienced the tragic loss of Marco Garibay, a dedicated father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. Marco leaves behind his wife, Christina, his three sons, Josiah (23), AJ (21), and Nathaniel (15). He also leaves behind his mother, Maria; father, Marcos; sister, Crystal; and two brothers, George and Danny.
With this unanticipated tragedy, the family is now challenged with the expenses of Marco’s services and burial. Friends and family have reached out to inquire about how to support the Garibay family during their time of need. For those that are interested in donating to assist the family, this Go Fund me page has been created by me, Claudia Monteon, Christina's sister and Marco's sister-in-law.
I want to thank the Orangecrest community for all the love and support towards Marco throughout these wonderful years. He enjoyed the football practices, games, fundraisers and gatherings. I would also like to sincerely thank you for having established a Meal Train for Christina and the boys.
From the moment he volunteered in the youth group at St. Edwards in Corona, cooking wonderful meals for all the 80 adolescents for an entire 3 day weekend retreat, my sister fell in love with his "can do attitude". Marco enjoyed, his family, motorcycling, football, fishing, restoring tools and equipment, traveling, mentoring, working in the construction area with wood, granite and more.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked in on the family, offered support, wrote a kind post, or shared a special memory of Marco! The family sincerely appreciates all of these kind gestures as they try to work through this difficult time.
Marco is loved greatly, will be missed dearly, but will never be forgotten!
