Marco’s funeral today was both heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. It was conducted mainly by his parish priest from Italy, he had baptised him as a baby and called him Marcolino. He quite rightly told us that even though we say “rest in peace” we know that Marco could never do that as he always was the most enthusiastic and energetic person in the room.

His amazing wife Rhina had the strength to get up and make a speech that left us all in awe of the love that they shared.
