Marco Barrera is a member of our small and close knit community of water polo.  He is currently our Youth Girls Southeast Zone Age Group Coach for the SEZ Olympic Development Program,  and Head Coach of North Palm Beach Water Polo Club. He has been active in our community as a coach, player, and dear friend to many of those fortunate to call him such. He is well respected and revered by us all.

Moreover he is a loving and devoted husband and father. I have known him personally for over 20 years and I am honored to have him and his beautiful family in my life. He has been a mentor to my son's as coach and further as their friend.


Marco suffered a stroke Sunday morning (22 Dec 2019). 

He will be going through many tests and treatments as well as therapy and rehab. All of these will be a huge financial burden on the family  

I am sponsoring this fund raising as the Southeast Zone Chair and am reaching out to you on behalf of our dear friend to help offset some of the expenses that no doubt will hit this wonder family hard.
