As some of you know, my son Nicolas was diagnosed with autism about 2 years ago. This obviously changed several aspects of our lives. I cannot say it has been easy, but I definitively can say that it made me a better person.
Our society has been clamoring for inclusion. There is still a long way though to include those with special needs.
I recently joined the board of Job Path NYC, a wonderful organization that supports people with autism, intellectual and other developmental disabilities as they make choices about their lives and play contributing roles in their communities.
Please join me in supporting Job Path with a donation in any amount so that the organization can continue to provide essential supports for individuals in their employment and community living programs.
Job Path's programs help people obtain and retain employment; provide support so that people can become lease holding tenants and establish their own homes; enable people to participate in social, recreational and civic activities in their communities.
