Marcia's journey with Leukemia
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
My name is Cayla - my mother in-law Marcia could use your help. Back in March we were able to celebrate her and her retirement with a Disney trip and shortly after we got back she started to feel ill. After many weeks of not feeling well and many tests we got the news at the end of June that she was diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia. She has been going through treatment and the only cure is a bone marrow transplant.
We are happy to know a match has been made and she will undergo a bone marrow transplant mid December. We found out at her appointment regarding the transplant that she lives too far away from the hospital and will need to spend 2 months post-transplant down by the hospital.
We are so thankful this holiday season for the transplant as it will allow her to spend many more holidays with us and enjoy many more years of retired life since she hasn't even gotten to enjoy that yet. Unfortunately insurance does not cover her stay at where she will be and the costs are adding up. We are looking for a little extra holiday magic and help from you. If you are able to donate to help with her cost of her stay, we thank you so much! If you are unable to donate, we ask you share her story.
Thank you! ❤️
