I read a book about Rocky Marciano a few years ago and became fascinated by one of the stories in it. It said that Marciano would often walk from Brockton to Providence to train. I always wanted to try to do this. I set a goal that on Sunday August 30, 2020 I will try to walk from the Rocky Marciano statue at Brockton High School to the site of the old RI Auditorium (1111 North Main St. Providence) It is 27 miles.

The Blazeman was a former student of my father's and they stayed in touch throughout the years. Both my father and Jon faced their respective illnesses with courage and dignity. That is why I would like to raise money for The Blazeman Foundation and donate it in my father's name.
