My dear friend of 36 years just lost his mother, Marciana, to cancer. I've known Michael Oquendo, his sister, brother and beautiful mama most of my life. This is a difficult time for the family so I am trying to help ease the financial burden with this campaign.
Marciana was an incredibly strong woman and she fought with everything she had. On the morning of June 4, 2020 she left her tired and fragile body and she is finally free of pain and suffering.
This fundraiser is to bring Marciana back home to Miami where she can be laid to rest in a plot that she picked out many years ago. If you can, please help Michael and his siblings bring their mother home and help cover funeral expenses.
