Marcia's Kick Cancer Cash
Donation protected
Our friend, Marcia Scheele was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer in January of this year. After surgeries in February and March, Marcia has been left with a colostomy bag and stomach pump. She is at the end of her second round of chemotherapy and still fighting the good fight against this horrible disease! Most of you reading this will remember her from our years in youth sports. it didn't matter what sport it was, Marcia worked tirelessly in administration or concession, it didn't matter what it was. She gave her time freely despite raising two great boys that have turned into fine gentlemen. Her family and her boys have done as much as they can do to help Marcia during this tough time. The boys have returned home from college and are working locally to support their mother. I have suggested several times that we should start a GoFundMe page, but Marcia always refused because of how private and strong willed she is. Marcia has been determined to get her health back and return to work. Unfortunately, her employer, Stanton Optical terminated her employment last week, leaving her with no health insurance. Marcia is unable to work at the moment and is not likely to find employment until she's healthy again. Until that time, we need to raise as much money as possible to help her support herself and pay her medical bills. Please forward and share with everyone!
