In Loving Memory of Marcia — 2004–2026

It is with immense sadness and profound grief that we share the passing of our dear Marcia, who left us far too soon.

Marcia went to Liverpool with dreams, determination, and a whole future ahead of her. Just last month, she reached one of the moments she was most proud of: graduating in Criminology and Psychology. It was the start of a new chapter, full of dreams, plans and hope — one that was so suddenly and unexpectedly cut short.

In this moment of pain too deep for words, her family holds one most precious wish: to bring Marcia home to Portugal, the land where she was born, so she may be among her loved ones and receive the dignified, peaceful farewell she so deeply deserves.

With heavy hearts and all humility, we turn to the kindness of our family, friends, and everyone touched by Marcia’s story. Whatever you are able to give — no matter how small — will help toward the costs of repatriation and laying her to rest. Every act of kindness makes a difference.
