March for Science Olympia 2018

We are raising funds to host a March for Science Olympia 2018. We need funds to pay for permits, local police to close off Capitol Way so we can march in the streets of Olympia from the Capitol to Heritage Park. We need funds to rent a sound system, tables and chairs, and advertising to get the word out. We plan on having some speakers, music, rally, and MARCHING to make our voices heard. All our organizers are donating their time and talents to make this a fantastic event! If there is money leftover we will donate it to a local organization.

We believe it is vital that there is no censorship of scientific studies, scientific research should be publicly funded, and science is essentially non-partisan.
