The Marching Minutemen Need New Uniforms!
Donation protected
Marching band uniforms are one of the most recognizable symbols of a school music program in the community.
If you look at the Marching Minutemen from the stands at a football game or competition, they still look pretty good after fourteen years on the field. However, if you look closely enough, you can see the disrepair. Discoloration, signs of many alterations, torn seams, broken zippers, and missing buttons are all apparent.
In addition to showing the wear and tear of dozens, if not hundreds, of performances, this set of uniforms isn’t going to cover the growth we anticipate in the next several years, which is a great problem to have! With a large rookie class this year, we did not have enough hats to outfit the entire band, and fitting everyone in jackets and bibbers was a challenge.
When we step out in uniform, our students represent our band program, its history, and all of the other aspects of being a Liberty High School Minuteman, and we want to look our best for years to come. With your help, we'll be able to design and order a custom uniform that will represent our school at hundreds of events such as football games, marching competitions, parades, and a host of other outings in our community over the next decade.
Any donation is helpful - We are counting on the support of our entire Minutemen Music community. Whether you or your child has already benefited from participation in the Marching Minutemen, or if they are part of our program’s future, we need your support. If you are interested in supporting the Marching Minutemen at a sustaining level with several large donations spread over the first half of 2020, please click here to join our Uniform Pledge Drive.
Please note: The "beneficiary" for this GoFundMe campaign is listed as "Penny Williams." Mrs. Williams is the bookkeeper at Liberty High School. Rest assured that all of the donations we collect through this campaign are deposited into the Marching Band Uniform Fund at Liberty High School as soon as they are delivered!
