Hey everyone! My name is Vince Snyder, and along with my younger brother Chris Snyder are going to be doing the 4x4x48 challenge on April 2, 2021. This challenge consists of Running/Walking 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours. We wanted to support an organization in doing this challenge, and while we were trying to figure that out, a young man I've been mentoring was diagnosed with cancer.

Markus Schouten was complaining of a shoulder pain, but after further doctor visits discovered that he had Ewing Sarcoma. This cancer is not diagnosed in stages, rather its diagnosed to be either metastatic or local. Markus's is metastatic, so it had spread from his shoulder to his spine, liver and lungs. The tumors are quite painful, and the treatment including chemo and radiation will be going on for the better part of the following year. 

We thought we would help out as much as possible. Travelling to and from the hospital (2 hour trip), missing work, supporting a loved one and so many things that come with a brother and son going through cancer treatment are taxing. We want to do everything we possibly can to take as much financial burden off the family in this time. 

All the funds raised will go directly to family at this time to help. Any amount is appreciated! We look forward to supporting this family and Marching for Markus on April 2, 2021. We will be starting at 12:00PM on the Friday, and finishing at 8:00 AM on the following Sunday.
