Marche pour le sentier 800 km Walk For the Trail

Suzanne Cayer (71 ans) de Chelsea, Qc marchera 800 km de Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré à Gaspé, Qc, du 22 août au 22 septembre 2017.
L’objectif: amasser des fonds pour convertir l’ancien corridor ferroviaire de Chelsea en sentier communautaire accessible pour tous qui désirent marcher, courir, faire du vélo et du ski de fond en hiver. Voici quelques bénéfices du sentier :
Il favorisera une vie active saine adaptée à tous les âges et toutes les habiletés.
Il nous permettra d’utiliser des moyens sécuritaires non motorisés ainsi que la possibilité de se déplacer entre les secteurs de la municipalité de Chelsea.
Il favorisera aussi un rapprochement et un voisinage en reliant les quartiers.

100% de l’argent contribué ira vers le projet du sentier communautaire accessible à l’année. Si pour n’importe quelle raison le projet de conversion ne se réalise pas, l’argent ira vers l’entretien du sentier d’hiver sur l’ancien corridor ferroviaire.

Suzanne Cayer (71 years young) of Chelsea, QC will be walking 800 KM from Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, to Gaspé, Quebec, from August 22 to September 22 2017.
The goal: to raise money to convert the abandoned railroad corridor in Chelsea to a multi-purpose trail for all who want to walk, run, bike and cross-country ski in winter. Here are just a few benefits of the trail:
It will promote healthy outdoor activity for all ages and abilities.
It will provide a safe method of non-motorized travel between communities.
It will promote social and community health by connecting neighbourhoods.

100% of the money raised will go straight to the community trail project. If for any reason the conversion to an all season trail doesn’t go forward, the money will go towards the grooming of the winter trail along the abandoned railroad corridor.
