On June 15, 2024, our family was notified of the untimely death of our son, brother (in-law), and uncle, Marcelo, in a fatal shooting involving the South Jordan police. We are asking for your help to pay for his funeral and memorial services, and legal fees.
Marcelo was known as an intelligent, gentle giant, who loved video gaming, fitness, being outdoors, reading books, playing his trombone, One Piece (anime), and baseball. He suffered from mental health issues, such as, schizophrenia, which interfered with his lifestyle and personal goals. We are devastated with the manner in which his life was taken, and strive to find out the truth of what happened on that day.
