Honoring our beloved Marcellus Miller

It is with the most profound grief that I share news of the passing of my beloved Marcellus Miller. He was the love of my life, my very best friend, and the most important person in my world for more than 12 years.
Early Friday morning, while visiting family in DC, Marcellus collapsed into my arms. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors discovered he had suffered a massive stroke from which he would not recover. Marcellus was surrounded by love in his final hours. Both his and my parents, his sister, uncle, aunt, and cousins rushed to the hospital to support him. Marcellus took his final breath late last night, September 5, 2020. He was just 32 years old. The pain of his loss is indescribable.
Marcellus was the most beautiful person I have ever known and, of course, he was loved by so many. In the coming days, his family and I will share details about how his loved ones will come together to celebrate his life. Unfortunately, Marcellus did not have life insurance, and the sudden and unexpected nature of his passing has left us in an impossible situation. Marcellus came from humble beginnings and the financial strain of the last several months of the pandemic means that I now need to ask for your help to bring my baby home and give him a proper farewell. He should still be here, but if God requires him to leave this world, he deserves to go in a way befitting of his immense goodness.
