After an unspeakable cancer diagnosis, we are attempting to raise funds to assist the family of Marcel Bidirel. The costs of travel, transport, funeral and memorial services add up quickly, and our goal is to ease the burden on the family by allowing them the space and time to grieve without worrying about access to sufficient funds. All of this in order to lay their husband, father, brother in Christ and friend to rest properly. All donations will go to the Bidirel family.

Marcel left an impression on everyone he met. His bright smile, charismatic personality, unshakeable faith in the Lord and unrelenting positive attitude made him an absolute joy to be around. Marcel was born in Campulung, Romania, and came to America in 1995. He met his wife Michelle in Romania and had 7 beautiful children. Jessica, Suzie, Cerasela, Johnny, Ruthy, Jenny and Enoh.

His enthusiasm for life, commitment to God and his church, and his impact on his community is how family and friends remember him. He leaves an unforgettable mark on the Romanian community, his hometown of Chicago and the entire church congregation. He is known to be an amazing singer, supporting every aspect of the church service and will be missed greatly.

Michelle is left behind without a sustainable income and will have to go back to work after his passing. We have been given less than 24 hours. His body has completely deteriorated, his children are devastated sitting by his side, and we are all doing our best to be there as he takes his last breath.
