Hi, my name is Andreea  (mum) and I wanted to share my son’s heartbreaking journey. 11-year-old Marc has been bravely battling bone cancer. After an incredibly difficult journey, he has recently undergone the amputation of his leg in order to save his life. Although born in the UK, Marc was visiting grandparents in Germany when he was taken ill. He is still recovering in hospital in Germany while he awaits another surgery to his lungs because this dangerous bone cancer (osteosarcoma Ewing ) has spread to he's lungs as well as metastasis and he will have a surgery to remove the metastasis very soon first from one lung and then for the other one .

Marc has shown unimaginable strength and courage through everything he’s faced. At just 11 years old, his resilience and spirit continue to inspire everyone around him, even on the hardest days.

This journey is far from over. Marc now faces a long road of recovery, including ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and learning to adapt to life with a prosthetic limb.

As you can imagine, this has placed a huge emotional and financial strain on his family. We are hoping to raise funds to help ease this burden—covering medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, mobility support, and helping Marc regain his independence and quality of life.
