Marc & Teri Pouhé on the road to a new kidney

Marc Pouhé, beloved Austin actor, is facing renal failure for the second time before middle age. He’s sitting in a Round Rock hospital as this is being written — having had an emergency port installed for dialysis after a scary toxin spike that would have killed him if he’d waited longer for treatment. Though he is stabilizing on a dialysis regimen now, he faces uncertainty about when he can return to work — and will need a second kidney transplant ASAP, a harrowing, lengthy, expensive process.
Teri Pouhé was finally on her way to visit Marc (after quarantining herself when she was diagnosed with pnemonia at the start of his hospital stay) when the couple’s car broke down. This will make it tough for her to get to work and get Marc to the many appointments he will have after his hospital release.
Faced with mounting bills, reduced income for an undetermined time, no working car, and the job of maintaining clean blood with a malfunctioning kidney, Marc & Teri could really use some help from this community!
These funds will be used at the Pouhés’ discretion to avert more crises and ease the recovery/transplant/recovery again process.
