Marc needs help

UPDATE FROM Marc:

First of all I would like to thank all the people who reached out to me in some way or shape! I'm overwhelmed by all the support my friends and family and people that I don't even know including the wonderful Baylor staff of the 13th floor Roberts tower at downtown Dallas!!!!

After a week and a half of surgery and procedures I'm finally able to come home!!

Early on the morning of the 13th of March I had an altercation with a young man who for about two weeks was hanging around the neighborhood! He had broken into peoples homes and cars! He was also stealing people's mail! During this incident I became the victim of being stabbed! Due to the due diligence of my Navy buddy and my 18yr daughter and her boyfriend I got the proper help till police and medics arrived. Baylor Downtown Dallas is the closest hospital to my home; so I was taken there!

I was stabbed 4 times puncturing a lung, puncturing my stomach and my diaphragm. I was in surgery for about 5 hours to repair my diaphragm, stomach and lung. I came out of surgery with 2 tubes on either side of my body and a tube that went through my nose down to my stomach. After the first week the tube in my lung was removed 1st, then nose and the other tube on my side was removed shortly after the first. The main concern was for my intestines to start working properly again! That process took about a week! Most of my therapy in the hospital was walking and breathing exercises! I ended staying a few more days because I had developed a little fluid on my injured lung so one tube went back in for

a couple more days!!

The love and support I got from the Campisi family, my personal family and almost every friend I've had through my entire life reached out and it is amazing! Plus people that I don't even know reached out to me! I thank God every day and make sure that I tell everyone that I love them because I really do! I'm so thankful and grateful for my short 53yrs around the sun and now I have the opportunity to make it 54! No words can describe how grateful to God I am to still be here!

I still have a little ways to go till full recovery!

My 18 daughter Abigale who is my ride or die has been by my side the whole entire time! She my youngest of 3 and we work together @Campisis! She just turned 18 and started serving with me side by side. We both actually been working together since she was 13. She is the most amazing young woman I know; strong, smart as a whip and has the most amazing personality! The Campisi family was gracious enough to allow Abigale to be by my side every day and not worry about losing job or anything like that. I just wouldn't be here without her help and love and support!

I have deep calming peace that everything is going to be fine.

I want to thank everyone for prayers, support and to all that have reached out in someway! I'm truly blessed by this whole experience! The journey is not over but just a new beginning!!!

Medical bills are adding up.

He and his daughter need some financial assistance. We want/need to help them.
