Update 5/16- he received several rounds of radiation to his brain but was unable to finish them, he went back to the hospital by ambulance on 5/15 for vomiting blood they said he has several ulcers in his stomach. They are saying the cancer has spread too much too fast over the last couple weeks and are no longer recommending immunotherapy. They are recommending hospice to keep him comfortable
Update 5/3- an update we were hoping we wouldn’t ever get, the cancer is stage four, he is receiving immunotherapy and radiation to the brain to help prolong his life as much as possible but there is no cure at this stage.
Thank you everyone for your generous donations. There will be a chicken dinner at McNikki’s Timout Lounge, 532 Hull Road Hailsboro, NY on June 23rd, please consider coming out to support.
Update 4/25- We are in awe of the amount of generosity, thank you so much to everyone who has donated you have no idea what it means to them. The craniotomy went well they stopped the brain bleed and got the largest tumor out. He was awake within an hour after surgery asking for Aunt Sue. He started physical therapy yesterday. They are doing a biopsy today on the mass on his liver to confirm type of cancer, those results take a few days.
Marc went to the ER on Friday for stomach pain and unable to eat, they found several blood clots and tumors on his Lungs, Kidney, Liver, Pancreas and chest. He was then transferred to Syracuse Upstate Medical where he was complaining of a headache. They did an MRI and found several tumors in his brain causing brain swelling and a brain bleed. He is having a craniotomy today 4/23 to remove the largest tumor and assess to see what the next steps are. With his history of Melanoma the doctors are confident that this is what it is. We are asking for anyone who can help donate to the family to help cover meals, hotel stays, gas and anything else they may need during this difficult time. I will update this as more news comes in. Thank you. ❤️
