Hi, my name is Paula Bandy. My brother, Marc Dufour, was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the throat this past August. I decided to create this fund in hopes of alleviating some of his financial burdens, allowing him to thoroughly commit his energy to his battle in beating cancer. These unexpected medical costs are causing stress and robbing him of much needed physical and mental energy. He has already incurred thousands of dollars that will not be covered by his medical insurance. His radiation and chemotherapy treatments are wearing him and his body down quickly, leaving a projected return to work date sometime next year. Funds raised will go towards medical cost and general support during Marc's journey.
