Marc “China” Villela’s Funeral Expenses

Hi, my name is Kaylinn Villela, and Marc was my dad. My dad recently passed away on December 17th, after strongly battling through years of medical issues. He was an influential figure in our community, setting up fundraisers and toy drives to support local elementary schools and people in need around San Pedro. He focused his time and energy giving back to the community the last few years of his life.

Throughout my life, my dad made friends everywhere he went. He was probably the most personable and friendly person you could ever meet. He had friends across the country, as well a tight-knit group of friends that he grew up with in San Pedro. He made connections with people through endless jokes and stories from the days of growing up.

Although he had been struggling with medical issues for some time, none of us imagined that he’d go so soon. He had just turned 52 on Nov 15th, and nothing could have prepared us for my dad leaving us just a few weeks later. My mom, Gracie, my sister, Kristin, and my brothers, Jonathan and Steven will miss him for the rest of our lives.

My family and I are kindly asking for donations to help pay for his funeral and memorial expenses. Any donation is greatly appreciated.
