Marathon for Jackie

Our treasured mother and wife Jackie slipped away from our side on the 6th of September, in the loving, attentive care of the staff of the Donal Hollywood Medical Oncology Unit in St. James's Hospital.
One of our long-time family friends Robert Pywell ran the Dublin City Marathon on Sunday 30th October in her memory.
We had the Ultimate Ladies' Night Out on November 20th in Twin Oaks Golf Club - a resounding success, and a fantastic night!
Our friend Eddie Mallen organised a Charity Equestrian Run on March 12th - on a beautiful day, with a massive turnout.
All of these fundraising efforts are thanks to the wonderful network of family, friends, & neighbours who surrounded Mam with support throughout her life, and
to raise much needed funds for the team in the Oncology Unit, so that they may continue to administer to others the sensitive and wonderful care they showed Mam.
Mam worked tirelessly throughout her life to raise funds for cancer care and research - including the establishment of a comfort fund for families affected by the illness she fought so bravely throughout her life.
She is someone who has touched all of our lives, and we wish to continue her legacy of passionate generosity, and thank all of our fundraising heroes for their beautiful gesture!
All donations are hugely appreciated, from the bottom of our hearts.
Very soon we will be preparing to present the combined total from these events to the Oncology Unit. Jackie's Wish has very much been fulfilled
