COVID19 has affected us all - I was supposed to run the Vancouver Marathon on May 3rd but it got cancelled. It was always my intention to raise money for some charity as part of that run however when the crisis came about I wanted to target that fundraising to help those affected by COVID19. I've chosen to help the National Council for the Blind in Ireland as I can only imagine how difficult social distancing can be for those challenged with sight loss. Instead of Vancouver, I will be running a Marathon via 30 laps of a 1.4k circuit (below) within a 1km radius of my home on May 3rd observing government guidelines, social distancing and good runner etiquette! https://www.ncbi.ie/
