Help me support the American Cancer Society!

On Saturday October 28th, I am running in Indy's Monumental Marathon to raise money for the American Cancer Society (ACS). ACS has helped make possible almost every major cancer breakthrough since 1946. Since then, ACS has invested more than $5 billion in cancer research, making it the largest nonprofit funder of cancer research in the United States, outside of the federal government. ACS remains committed to finding more – and better – ways to improve the quality of life for cancer patients.

Supporting ACS this year is especially important to me because both my uncle and my mother-in-law have been diagnosed with cancer and are currently undergoing chemotherapy. Cancer continues to be the 2nd most common cause of death in the US, and more research is needed to keep cancer's mortality rate decreasing.
