Marathon for the Mihai Nesu Foundation

My name is Rutger Milders and I will run my first marathon in Valencia on December 3rd to support the Mihai Neșu Foundation. The incredible story of Mihai Neșu has been an inspiration for me as it brings together some key personal elements: making the best out of tragedy, loving care for people with disabilities and FC Utrecht.

Mihai had a tragic accident during a training session. He got paralyzed from the shoulders down. Instead of feeling sorry for himself, he makes the best of his life and started the foundation. The foundation (https://www.mihainesufoundation.com/en) helps Romanian children with neuromotor disabilities to rehabilitate with the best care, love and dedication from professionals.
