Marathon For Stephanie Polston

Hey friends! My name is Danielle Brinker and in April of 2019 one of my best friends of over 18 years, Stephanie Polston, was diagnosed with Bulbar Onset ALS. Steph is 32 years young and has a precious 1 year old daughter named Maggie. ALS is more than a living nightmare it’s actual hell.  There are no words to describe what Stephanie and her family are going through. There is nothing I can do to stop this disease that has no cure. There is nothing I can say to make any of this better for her. Nothing.  The only thing in this situation I know I can do to help is raise money for her. So I've decided to run a marathon this October in honor of Stephanie and raise a minimum of $10,000. 

ALS is a devastating disease  and it's also a really expensive disease to live with. It has taken away her ability to work, leaving her and John to a one income household.  I know so many people who want to support them and show them love. By donating you are giving Stephanie peace of mind so she can focus on soaking up every moment with her family. She should not have to worry about the cost of medical bills, groceries, daycare, healthcare or anything at all. All she should worry about is enjoying every day with her loved ones. 

Stephanie is an amazing human who would do anything for anyone. She's selfless, kind, beautiful inside and out, funny and a giver. She's always been that friend who I could count on for a good laugh, good advice or a good time. I can't explain to you what her diagnosis has done to my heart.
