MARATHON FOR MY NEW ACADEMY

My name is Dr. Keith Buhler, and I am the headmaster of Saint Andrew Academy. Next week I'll be running MY FIRST Marathon. I am dedicating this run to my students!

 

 

 

 

Saint Andrew Academy is a new educational nonprofit that is part of the Saint Andrew Orthodox Christian Education Center. We serve more than 40 home school families in our parish community to help their children grow in wisdom, virtue, and love of God.

 

(As a new institution, our tax-exempt paperwork is still in process. So I'm doing this fundraiser personally and sending ALL proceeds along to the Education Center.)

 

OUR STORY

In June 2021, my family and I moved and left a wonderful teaching position to launch a new phase of my career at a new institution.

 

It's been a whirlwind four months. We launched just six weeks ago! It has been a huge success thus far. We can't be more grateful for this community of teachers and students and parents who have come together to educate these kids in virtue and wisdom.

 

 

 

 

As with any educational endeavor, the needs are great but people's generosity is greater.

 

Stepping out in faith, I'm asking family and friends like you to join me in reaching some crucial financial targets of this first year.

As headmaster, I see the needs of students and teachers every day.

- Software

- and more!

 

To meet some of these pressing needs, my goal is to raise $100 for every mile I complete: 26.2 miles for a total of $2,620.

 

If we succeed and meet the goal, our growth goal is to x10 this amount for: $26,200 total. ($1,000 for every mile!)

Fundraising starts TODAY and concludes by Wednesday after the marathon -- about when I might be able to walk again :-)

 

Knowing you are behind me will be very motivating when I hit "the wall" next Saturday... and help me to finish!
