Marathon for Jett
Donation protected
With your help, I hope to raise funding for Jett Clothier. Jett is 9 yrs of age and suffers from autosomal dominant type 1 porencephaly (COL4A1 mutation), Cerebral Palsy, Severe developement delay, Epilepsy, Scoliosis, Severe irratability, he is gastrostomy fed, has daytime somnolence and other problems. Jett is wheelchair bound and has to be 100% fed by tube. He also suffers from blindness and seizures. Jett's Father Kym is a single parent and fulltime carer of Jett. Kym also has two other daughters (11 & 7yrs). I first met Kym in the local gym where he shared his story with me. Kym epitomises the Aussie Battler. Kym drives an old VT Holden Commodore wagon and it's becoming increasingly difficult for him to transport Jett as he grows as the vehicle is not wheelchair equipped. Kym requires a vehicle to be less than 3 yrs old in order for wheelchair access modification grants to be approved. With Kym being the sole fulltime carer of Jett and his children he is unable to work so he can't afford a suitable vehicle.
I am running a 44km Marathon in the Great Ocean Road Running Festival on the 17th of May this year (2020) and hope to raise as much money as possible for Kym to put towards a suitable vehicle for wheelchair access. Please help me raise funds for Kym & Jett by donating via the link. Any amount will help. Thank you.
