Marathon for Jessies Journey

In April last year my beautiful Niece was diagnosed with ALL Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia at the age of 3. Jessie is now one year into her chemotherapy treatment which will last for 2.5 years in order to prevent relapse at a later stage.

Jessies brothers have been deeply affected by her diagnosis too. The thought of loosing there little sister has been unimaginable.

The NHS do not fund any support for siblings whether it’s counselling, workshops or meeting other siblings that have been though the same.

My Sister and Brother in Law have created Jessies Journey and in time this charity will step in and support the whole family with not only emotional support but days out and short breaks to create new memories together but also financial support to ease the burden.

I would like to help them support other families too. Every penny helps make a difference to a family in need of some support, not everyone is fortunate enough to have wonderful friends and family.

So on May 25th 2025 I will be running the Edinburgh Marathon for Jessie and her Journey.
