Marathon for James Staunton Foundation Trust
Donation protected
After the cancellation of the Dublin and Madrid Marathons, 15 of us have came together to run our own marathon around Sutton, Boldmere and Erdington on Saturday 18th July to raise money for the James Staunton Foundation Trust.
After sadly losing James in 2019, the charity was formed to help people and their families who are going through a tough time whilst also raising awareness around mental health to remind people that ‘It’s OK not to be OK’.
Below is the link to the James Staunton Foundation Trust Facebook page for anyone who has any more questions or would like to get involved in the charity.
We will be starting and finishing the marathon at Miller and Carter in Sutton Park. We will update this page with timings and routes closer to the time, to ensure we are keeping in line with Covid-19 regulations.
The 15 lads who are running (hobbling) the 26.2 miles are:
Declan Staunton
James Walker
James Martin
Jordan Gibbons
Andrew Davis
James Davis
Michael Dinneny
Elliot Kerins
Thomas Kelly
Thomas Watkins
Shane Price
Dom Coleman
Barney Tierney
Andrew McLinden
James Sullivan
Any donations to the James Staunton Foundation Trust would be greatly appreciated and if you see any of us struggling around the route on the 18th July please give us a cheer.
